Trees over 6 inches diameter on private property may require a permit from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services. We handle all permit research for you.
Signs include dead branches, cracks in the trunk, leaning more than usual, fungal growth at the base, or hollow sections. Our arborist will assess and give you an honest recommendation.
Late winter (February–March) before new growth is ideal for most species. Oaks should only be pruned outside of April–July to prevent oak wilt.
We offer both. Tree removal includes cutting to ground level. Stump grinding is a separate service that removes the root flare — recommended if you're planting or paving over the area.
Small trees (under 30 ft) typically run $300–$600. Large trees $800–$2,500+. We give you an exact written quote after a free on-site assessment.
Yes. Logs, branches, and chips are all removed. If you want to keep the firewood, just let us know and we'll cut and stack it for you.
